Norrland Bachata Weekend 2026

Norrland Bachata Weekend 2026 marks the third anniversary of Salsa Sundsvall, running May 29 to 31 in Sundsvall, Sweden. The weekend uses two venues, with the main floor at Englaporten on Södra Järnvägsgatan 25 and a secondary salsa workshop space at Salsa Sundsvall's studio on Kyrkogatan 24.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• ▶Workshops Friday evening, all day Saturday across three rooms, and Sunday morning to afternoon
• ▶Three nights of social dancing including a Friday afterparty until 02:00
• ▶Saturday Latin Party on two dance floors, one for Salsa and Latin mix, one for Bachata and Kizomba
• ▶Workshop content split between Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba rooms

LINEUP HIGHLIGHTS

The teaching team features Roger Cracco, a London-based bachata artist known for his musicality and partnerwork instruction. He is joined by Sara van Hamburg, founder of Salsa Sundsvall and host of the festival. Additional instructors and DJs are being announced closer to the event, with Stockholm dance photographer Levente confirmed for media coverage.
