Palma de Mallorca has 6 weekly Latin socials on 4 nights at Kairos, Victory's and Batjockeys: days, start times, prices and which nights lean bachata.

Palma de Mallorca has six weekly Latin socials on four nights (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) in three dance halls. Kairos anchors the week with three of them and publishes its prices: 8 EUR on Tuesday, 10 EUR on Sunday and 10 or 15 EUR on Friday, always with a drink included. Friday and Sunday each have two socials, and on Friday both run until 4 AM or later.

None of the three halls is in the old town: Kairos is in the Son Fuster industrial area, Victory's in Rafal Nou and Batjockeys in the Son Castelló industrial estate. Kairos is a bachata-led school, so if salsa is your main style, start with Thursday at Batjockeys and Friday at Victory's.

Kairos: Three Nights in Son Fuster

Kairos is a new dance school and party hall at Carrer del Ter 21, in the Son Fuster industrial area, served by metro line M1 and buses 10 and 33. Holiday visitors are welcome. Tuesday is Martes de PalmaBall: doors at 9:15 PM, a bachata workshop at 9:30 PM, then a bachata, salsa and kizomba social from 10:15 PM to 1:30 AM. Entry is 8 EUR with one drink or one beer. The workshop is bachata, so expect a bachata-leaning crowd.

Friday is the late night. Doors open at 9:30 PM, resident DJ Jhon Line starts the social at 10:30 PM, and it runs until about 4 AM. Entry is 10 EUR with one mixed drink (or two soft drinks or beers), or 15 EUR with two mixed drinks. Kairos bills it as salsa, bachata and kizomba but publishes no music split.

Sunday is La Misa, an early tardeo: a bachata workshop from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, then the social until 1:30 AM, for 10 EUR with one mixed drink or two soft drinks or beers. The main room plays about 90 percent bachata and the second room is kizomba only, so treat it as a bachata and kizomba night, not a salsa night.

Victory's: The Friday SBK Party in Rafal Nou

Victory's is a dance school at Carrer de Selva 13 in Rafal Nou, about ten minutes from the centre, on city bus line 5. On Fridays it turns into a club: the SBK Party runs from 9:30 PM to 4:30 AM, with the social from 10:30 PM. You do not need to be a student or book ahead.

Some Fridays open with workshops at 9:30 PM. For Friday 16 October 2026, Victory's announced two side by side, one bachata and one salsa. The resident DJ mixes salsa, bachata and kizomba through the night, in a large air-conditioned hall with a wooden floor and room for up to 500 people. The hall also hosts concerts, and one is announced for Friday 13 November 2026, so check the Victory's Instagram before that Friday.

Batjockeys: Thursday and Sunday in Son Castelló

Batjockeys is a hall for about 300 people at Carrer Gremi Selleters i Basters 23, in the Son Castelló industrial estate, running for more than 25 years. Plan on a car or taxi from the centre. The hall is air-conditioned and stays cool inside even in mid-August.

Thursday runs from about 9 PM to 2:30 AM. Cuban-style salsa and sensual bachata alternate in short sets, about three salsa songs and then three or four bachata. Sunday is an early-evening session: a workshop first (bachata, sometimes Cuban son), then a salsa, bachata and kizomba social until about 11 PM.

Four nights a week: Tuesday at Kairos, Thursday at Batjockeys, Friday at Kairos and at Victory's, and Sunday at Batjockeys. We have no verified weekly social on Monday or Wednesday. Kairos also runs a Sunday social, but it is a bachata and kizomba night, not a salsa night.

How much does a salsa social in Palma de Mallorca cost?

At Kairos, every price includes a drink: 8 EUR on Tuesday, and on Friday 10 EUR (one mixed drink or two soft drinks or beers) or 15 EUR (two mixed drinks). The Kairos Sunday bachata and kizomba night costs 10 EUR with a drink.

Are the salsa socials in Palma's old town?

No. Kairos is in the Son Fuster industrial area (metro line M1, buses 10 and 33). Victory's is in Rafal Nou, about ten minutes from the centre (city bus line 5). Batjockeys is in the Son Castelló industrial estate, so plan on a car or taxi.

Is the Palma scene more salsa or bachata?

Several nights lean bachata. Kairos is a bachata-led school: its Tuesday and Sunday socials open with bachata workshops, and the Sunday main room plays about 90 percent bachata. Salsa gets a regular share on Thursday at Batjockeys (salsa and bachata in short sets) and on Friday at Victory's (salsa, bachata and kizomba all night).

Tuesday at Kairos and both Friday socials start between 10:15 and 10:30 PM. Thursday at Batjockeys starts earlier, around 9 PM, and ends around 2:30 AM.
