Tanzschule Movida is a modern Latin dance academy in Frankfurt West offering courses in Bachata Dominicana, Salsa Cubana, Kizomba, Reggaeton, Ladystyling and a Babychata class for parents with babies. The school operates two locations: the main Movida Dance Academy at Hamburger Allee 45 in 60486 Frankfurt and a children's studio inside Skyline Plaza at Europa-Allee 6. Movida emphasizes a clear five-tier level system that places every dancer (beginner, improver, intermediate, advanced) in the right group so technique progresses on a shared wavelength. Bachata classes focus on the original Dominican style with attention to footwork, rhythm and authentic body movement, while Salsa Cubana classes teach the circular, Afro-Cuban Casino style with body waves and isolations. Beyond regular weekly classes the school runs Sunday Bootcamps for intensive Bachata training, two performance show groups (Fuerza for partnerwork, Ritmicas for Ladystyling) and offers private lessons including wedding choreographies. No partner is required to enrol – the school rotates partners during class – and entry is possible at any time thanks to flexible class cards that never expire. Movida positions itself as much as a community as a school, with experienced instructors who give honest, constructive feedback and a 160 m² fully equipped studio with mirror wall, parquet floor, sound system, air conditioning and changing rooms. A 2-for-1 trial promotion lets newcomers test the school before committing to a class card or membership.
Movida Dance Academy is an established Latin dance school based in Frankfurt West (Hamburger Allee 45, 60486 Frankfurt). The school has expanded to a second site, the Movida Kindertanzschule inside Skyline Plaza on Europa-Allee, where it offers children's dance classes (ages 2-11) and the Babychata class for parents with babies. Internally the school runs two long-standing performance show groups: Fuerza, a partnerwork show team led by David and Jessy that develops a new choreography every six months and performs at festivals and events, and Ritmicas, a Ladystyling show group led by Jessy that trains for competitions. The next Fuerza season was scheduled to begin on Tuesday 6 January 2026. The school is also adding a second 160 m² studio space near the existing location for sublet, indicating continued growth.

Co-leads the Fuerza partnerwork show group at Movida; choreographs new partnerwork routines every six months alongside Jessy, blending Bachata Fusion, Sensual, Tradicional and acrobatic elements.
Lead Ladystyling instructor and co-director of both the Fuerza partnerwork show group and the Ritmicas Ladystyling show group. Focuses on turn technique, body movement, arm styling, isolations and musicality, and personally evaluates dancers before they join the Ladystyling show team.
Teaches the Reggaeton open-level class at the Skyline Plaza studio, bringing urban-dance energy with choreographies focused on body movement, isolations, attitude and performance.
