About the studio
Dance Social Helsinki is one of Finland's largest Latin dance studios, located in the Sörnäinen district just east of central Helsinki. The school specialises in Bachata Sensual but also runs full-week Cuban Salsa and BachaZouk programmes, with a clear A1-to-D2 level ladder so dancers always know which course suits them. Two studios at Sörnäisten rantatie 31A host weekly classes Monday through Sunday with no summer break, plus a free Thursday Mini-Social that uses both rooms for guided practice. The studio is partner-optional, kid-friendly (Moms & Kids on Tuesdays) and offers heavily discounted youth rates for under-26s. Their instructor team is unusually deep – several teachers are Korke & Judith certified or trained in the Esencia Method, and director Anton is one of Finland's most prolific Jack & Jill competitors and private-class teachers. Dance Social also organises its own events (Vappu with Yuri & Lunita, Helsinki Events) and is closely connected to Bachata Studio Tallinn / Tallinn Bachata Festival 2026. Dance Social Helsinki operates from the Dance Social HQ on Sörnäisten rantatie 31A and is closely tied to Bachata Studio Tallinn (founded by the same team), which runs the Tallinn Bachata Festival. The Helsinki venue is a multi-studio space (Studio 1 and Studio 2) and over recent years has grown into a Korke & Judith-aligned bachata-sensual hub for Finland, while keeping a substantial Cuban Salsa and BachaZouk programme. The studio openly markets a Finland–Estonia connection through cross-border events, instructor exchanges and a shared festival calendar.
