The ABA Bachata Party is hosted by Adelaide Bachata Academy, the city's largest school dedicated to bachata, led by competition winning instructors Thien and Alice. Held at the Walkerville RSL and Community Centre on Walkerville Terrace, the night typically opens with a workshop from around 8 to 9 PM, then flows into a 100 percent bachata social with a DJ running through to midnight. Doors are usually from about 7:45 PM.
