Ponto de Encontro – Casa Municipal da Juventude

Ponto de Encontro is the municipal youth centre perched above Cais do Ginjal with a direct view over the Tejo — the setting that shapes its events. The space is a multipurpose hall used for rehearsals, presentations and community nights; programming leans cultural and community-led rather than club-style. On Fridays the venue runs a bachata social in our events database, so expect a modest, local crowd and an informal, class-to-social rhythm rather than a long DJ set.

The Casa Municipal da Juventude is open Tuesday–Saturday (10:00–13:00, 14:00–23:30); most dance events happen in the evening—check the municipal events page or ring the venue if the listing is sparse. It's a short walk up from the Cacilhas ferry and the view of Lisbon across the river is a bonus between sets. If you want a big nightclub night, this isn't it; if you want community-run socials with a local flavour, it fits.
