Salsa & Bachata at Sebastián Pintxos Bar, Atlanta

On Friday nights Sebastián Pintxos Bar turns its downstairs speakeasy/hookah room into a salsa–bachata social. The dance area is a tiny square tucked under the main tapas bar, low ceiling, tables and booths pressed close to the floor, and a small service bar at the edge, so dancing happens elbow-to-elbow and shines are limited.

Music is DJ-led mixes of salsa and bachata for the single weekly late show; the kitchen and tapas service continue upstairs while the speakeasy fills. Expect the floor to remain thin until after 23:00 and to feel crowded by midnight; one reviewer even reported an entry fee on a particular night, so check the event post before you go. If you want a roomy ballroom for long turns, look elsewhere.
