Kubata is a community-run Kizomba night in Afrika Yetu’s Am Sudhaus space (Am Sudhaus 2). The night is steered by a house DJ — Duk — who spins Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxiha, Ghetto Zouk and Afrohouse; the programming leans toward traditional Angolan kizomba rather than club edits.
