Casa Cultural e.V.

Casa Cultural is Bremen’s community-run Cuban–Caribbean dance association that runs weekly classes and a social party on Fridays. Housed in the club rooms on Bürgermeister‑Smidt‑Straße near the Hauptbahnhof, it runs Afro Cubano, Salsa Cubana, bachata and kizomba classes and occasional workshops; trainers and DJs listed on the site include DJ Nelly, Angela Mailym Rodríguez and Kenny Moreira. Reviews note free Friday entry and a salsa-heavy DJ set with only a few bachata/kizomba tracks across an evening.

Expect a class-or-workshop programme before the social — beginners’ block courses start most winters/springs (new intakes in February and September). The room is run on an association timetable rather than a commercial-club schedule, so opening hours and special events are on the website calendar; check the Friday event listing before you go. It’s a small, local scene: come ready to meet members and dancers from classes rather than a tourist crowd.
