Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba at Stenpiren, Gothenburg

Free, weekly summer Sunday social on Göteborg’s Stenpiren pier hosted by Caliente Dance School. The event runs 18:00–22:00 with a short workshop 18:15–19:00 followed by open social dancing; music focuses on Bachata, Salsa and Merengue. Because it’s outdoors on the pier (public space) there’s no raised wooden floor, expect hard pavement, a cleared area for dancing and passersby.

Plan to arrive for the workshop if you want a guided warm-up; the floor typically becomes busiest after the class. Dress casually, bring a light jacket for evening wind and shoes suited to street surfaces. There’s no cover charge and programming runs on summer Sundays only, check Caliente’s events page for exact dates and cancellations. Stenpiren is central and easy to reach by tram or ferry; assume limited seating and minimal dancer infrastructure, so bring water and anything you need for a two- to four-hour outdoor session.
