Salsa Grenoble

This is a dance school first and a party venue second: one single hall, decorated by a Cuban artist, that hosts weekly SBK (salsa/bachata/kizomba) parties with local DJs. Parties open with a short initiation at 20:15, the music runs from about 21:30 until 01:30, and the listed cover is €7 — no reservation required. DJs on the roster include Foudil, Aimé and El Buceador; nights mix Cuban salsa practice with bachata and kizomba sets.

If you turn up on a weekday you’ll find classes (most evenings 19:00–22:00) and student meet-ups; the site also runs daytime workshops and occasional weeks-long trips to Santiago de Cuba. The venue is very central — Tram A “Berriat magasin” is two minutes away — and there’s a members’ apéro-dînatoire before some events (reserved for students). Expect a school-led crowd of regulars rather than a tourist club; check the calendar for holiday closures before you go.
