Barfusz Leipzig

Barfusz mixes a full-service bar/restaurant with a basement club: dinner and big tables in the main hall and a vaulted Gewölbekeller used for nights and club bookings. On Wednesdays the venue runs a Latin social night — sets of salsa and bachata — usually with a small entry (around 5€).

Expect dinner noise until late; the kitchen and self-service/digital-order system keep the ground floor active while the cellar is where people dance. The room is central at Markt 9, so it fills with a mixed, mostly local crowd; music can be loud in seated areas, so come ready to move downstairs. Closing time on weeknights is around 01:00, and the venue lists live acts and club events on its calendar, so check the website or Instagram before you go. Dress casual; people come straight from dinner. Cover is small (≈5€); the bar accepts cards.
