El Patio is the party side of the MalagaSalsa school, run by Ariel Murillo, whose school has taught Cuban salsa and bachata in Málaga for more than 25 years. The floor is Cuban salsa and Dominican bachata.
The sessions are tardeos, running from 18:00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and finishing at midnight. Sunday is the big one, a Cuban tardeo with a rueda workshop, live music and DJs. Wednesday is the school's Día del Amigo, 19:30 to 22:00, with 20 percent off drinks.
The address is C. Corregidor Paz Guzmán 2 in Cruz de Humilladero, outside the old town, and the bar pours mojitos and other cocktails.
