About CubaCuba

Two nights a week CubaCuba becomes Jeju’s compact salsa social, hosted by Salsa What Jeju on the third floor of the Jungang-ro building above an optician. The club runs Thursdays and Saturdays; Salsa Vida lists events 20:30–23:30 with a small cover (about ₩6,000–₩10,000). The room is an upstairs event space rather than a nightclub, so expect a concentrated dance area and dancers close together.

Nights are led by instructor Lion Kak and often include progression-level teaching followed by social dancing; the crowd mixes local regulars with visitors who come to practice. If you prefer short, focused socials, arrive around 20:30 to catch any warm-up or class — the floor moves quickly through partner rotations once the music starts. This is a community-run night on a central Seogwipo street area — taxi or local transit is easiest for late returns.
