Birkagården- Antonija

This is Stockholm’s community house in Vasastan that doubles as the weekly home for ZoukKTH’s Friday Zouk social. The group hires one of the centre’s halls (often the Samlingssalen) rather than running a bar night: a wooden dance floor with seating around it and the café next door. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises, so the evening reads more like a student social than a nightclub.

Expect a student-led crowd and regulars from the university scene; reviewers specifically praise the floor for partner dances such as tango and zouk. There is a cover charge (about 149 SEK on the events listing) and entry or tickets are handled by the organising group. Because Birkagården is a multi-use cultural centre, the dance floor feels compact when full and the rest of the house runs courses and community activities during the day.
