About DANZÓN
DANZÓN is Vienna's central Latin club that pairs a proper dance floor with club programming, DJs spin bachata and salsa alongside reggaeton, Latin house and RnB. The calendar is explicit: Fiesta on Wednesdays, Bailando on Thursdays, Latinera on Fridays and Saturdays and Boom Latino (100% latinos) on Saturdays. There's also a separate Bacardi Lounge that opens from 18:30 and regular dance workshops run by Caribbean Flavour.
The main room is a club layout rather than a small social-salsa hall: expect a raised DJ booth, packed dance floor and a bar at the edge of the floor. Nights are DJ-led (no regular live band listed) and the venue stays open late, Wed/Thu to 04:00 and Fri/Sat to 06:00, so the floor really fills after midnight. It's at Johannesgasse 3 in the 1010 central district, so easy to combine with a city-centre night out.
