Zurich's social-dance week is small and steady, clustered around Kreis 4 and Langstrasse, where a tight circle of regulars rotates between tanzschule socials and the odd jazz-club takeover. Expect a mixed salsa-and-bachata crowd, dressier than Berlin and earlier-starting — most floors warm up around 21:30 and thin out by 01:00.

Across 4 active venues, salsa and bachata split the week almost evenly, with a couple of kizomba nights filling the midweek gap. Friday is the busiest night by a clear margin; Wednesday and Thursday hold the smaller school socials, and Monday surprises with a beginner-friendly room. Solo dancers are common and the cabeceo works at the more salsa-dura nights, less so at the school floors.
