Moods Zurich

Moods is Zurich’s long-running jazz and live-music club in the former Schiffbau factory that turns into a late-night party spot on weekends. The programme is concert-first — shows commonly start around 20:30 in a seated main room — but the bar/club area stays open late, with Friday–Saturday closing hours listed as 04:00. The main entrance is on Schiffbauplatz and the site notes parking under Hardbrücke and in the Pfingstweid/Hardstrasse garage.

This is not a dedicated salsa venue: the calendar is heavy on jazz, world and band nights and only occasionally lists DJ-led dance parties (some of which include Latin sets). Sound quality and sightlines get consistent praise from reviewers, but expect ticketed entry on concert nights and a seated-to-standing shift only if the evening becomes a party. Doors typically open ~19:30; check the online programme before you go if you need a straight social-dance night rather than a gig-first evening.
