Bachata in Philadelphia runs five nights a week, and all five are weekly socials. Thursday is the busiest with two parties, and Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday each add one more. That gives you four days out of seven to dance. Most of these nights happen at a Latin nightclub, so expect a club floor and a DJ rather than a studio setting. Bachata and salsa share the same scene here, with five salsa socials running in the same city, so many nights mix both styles on one floor. Coming alone is normal, and social dancers rotate partners through the night. Some socials open with a short beginner lesson before the party starts.
