Alicante has one verified weekly bachata social in the city itself: Monday at William Buzz, a bar on the port. Entry to that social was free in August 2026. The other two verified socials are in Elche, about 20 to 25 km away. There, Sala Bubaloo runs them on Friday from 10 PM and on Saturday from 7:30 PM.
So a visitor gets three verified nights at two venues, and only one of them is in Alicante. All three play salsa, bachata and kizomba on the same night. If you stay in Alicante, plan your transport to Elche before the weekend.

William Buzz: Monday Bachata on the Port
William Buzz is a cocktail bar on Muelle Levante in the Port of Alicante, walkable from the Explanada de España and the old town. Every Monday the organizer AlicanteSBK teaches a salsa class at 8:30 PM and a bachata class at 9:30 PM, with beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. The social starts at about 10:45 PM and runs late, with DJ Marzio playing salsa, bachata and kizomba.
Entry to the social was free in August 2026. Class prices are not published. The dancing happens in the bar area among tables and standing room, not on a separate dance floor. You do not need a partner: the venue's Monday post invites dancers to come alone, with friends or as a couple.
Two William Buzz posts from September 2026 also announce a Thursday social with AlicanteSBK, so check the organizer's Instagram (@alicantesbk) for the current week before you go.

The weekend socials are not in Alicante. Sala Bubaloo is a dedicated Latin dance hall at Carrer Sabadell 10 in Elche (Elx), about 20 to 25 km south-west of Alicante city. Get there by car, taxi or the Alicante to Elche train or bus, and check the last connection back before you leave.
Friday starts at 10 PM. Saturday starts at 7:30 PM, the earliest start of the week. Both are new hours set by the venue, and both nights run until late. Resident DJs play salsa, bachata and kizomba at the SBK socials, and the hall also runs workshops.
Google reviewers in 2026 describe a lively floor that can get crowded and tight, and they praise the air conditioning. Some dancers travel in from Valencia. We have no door price for either night.
If you stay in Alicante on Friday, El Gato Cool Pub on C. Santos Médicos runs a salsa class from 10:30 PM, with a one-drink minimum. Its own October 2026 listings show no social after the class.
