Bangkok has bachata on four nights a week, Sunday to Wednesday, and Bachata Fever anchors it. Every Sunday it runs on the Oasis Rooftop, 8th floor of the Paradox Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 15. Workshops start at 8 PM, the bachata-led social runs from 9 PM to midnight, and entry is from 300 THB with a workshop and one drink.
Six more weekly nights run at six other venues, and Salsa Bangkok adds a party on the last Friday of each month. Thursday and Saturday have no verified weekly social. Every night below was checked in October 2026.

Bachata Fever runs every Sunday at Oasis Rooftop, on the 8th floor of the Paradox Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 15, a short walk from BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit. Two workshops, one for beginners and one open level, run from 8 to 9 PM. The social follows until midnight, in a rotation of 3 bachata, 1 salsa, 2 bachata, 1 salsa.
Entry starts at 300 THB and includes a workshop and one drink. Social Dance Bangkok and Bangkok Bachata Gang host the night. It is open-air and the promos say "if no rain", so in the rainy season, roughly May to October, check the Social Dance Bangkok Instagram first.
Bachata events in BangkokHavana Social: A Free Sunday Class at 9 PM
Havana Social is a hidden speakeasy in a small alley on Sukhumvit Soi 11, in front of Fraser Suites. Every Sunday it runs Salsa Sundays: a free Latin dance class at 9 PM with Alex Teodorescu, who then DJs the salsa and bachata social. Entry is free and dancers do not need a table. BTS Nana is a short walk away.
The bar closes at 2 AM, and the dancing happens on the non-smoking ground floor. The dress code is strict smart casual (see the FAQ below). On Thursday, Friday and Saturday a live band, the Asoke Latino Band, plays from 9 PM.

Bachata On Mondays (BOM) has run every Monday since 2013. Alex and Saori host it on the 2nd floor of Hemingway's at 19 Soi Sukhumvit 11, near BTS Nana. Workshops run from 8 to 9 PM, then the social goes until midnight.

Latin Soul runs at The Red Door BKK, on the 3rd floor of 89/8 Soi Sukhumvit 24, near BTS Phrom Phong. A bachata workshop runs from 8 to 9 PM, then a DJ duo plays salsa, bachata and kizomba until midnight. No partner is needed. Entry is 400 THB with the workshop or 300 THB for the party only, each with one soft drink. Payment is cash or QR only, no cards.
AfroKiz Tuesdays is the only all-kizomba weekly in our Bangkok listings. It starts at 8 PM at Euphoria Bar and Lounge, 2nd floor, 8/1-2 Ratchadaphisek Road at the Asok junction, a short walk from BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit. The bar is a smoking lounge and Google reviewers mention cannabis, so expect smoke.
Kizomba events in BangkokWednesday: Kizomba Connection and Above Eleven
Kizomba Connection runs at Flava Lite Rooftop Bar & Cafe, on the 11th floor of Night Hotel Bangkok (Building 2) on Sukhumvit Soi 15, the same soi as Bachata Fever. Workshops start at 7:30 PM (kizomba fusion) and 8:30 PM (tarraxo), and the party runs from 9:30 PM to midnight with 80% kizomba and 20% bachata. Every ticket includes a drink: 250 THB for the party, 350 THB with an alcoholic drink, 400 THB with one workshop and 500 THB with both. Pay in cash, by QR or by bank transfer; credit cards are not accepted.
For salsa, go to Above Eleven, a Peruvian-Japanese rooftop restaurant and bar on the 33rd floor of Fraser Suites on Sukhumvit Soi 11. Its Salsa & Ladies Night runs every Wednesday from 8 PM with DJ Alex. The music is salsa-led with bachata in the mix.
