Budapest's bachata week has four verified socials on three days. The anchor is Sensual Thursdays at Broadway Dance Center, a 100% bachata social from 9:30 PM to midnight. Entry is 2,500 HUF, or 3,500 HUF with the 9 PM mini workshop. The same Thursday has a free salsa-bachata party at Füge Udvar. Friday brings Wombat's Salsa-Bachata Party, and BANG! at JO&JOE adds a Tuesday every second week.

Sensual Thursdays: 100% Bachata at Broadway Dance Center
Broadway Dance Center is a dance studio on the 1st floor of Kerepesi út 26, in the 14th district. Every Thursday it hosts Sensual Thursdays, which Bachata Club Hungary has run since 2016. The night is 100% bachata, with no salsa.
The evening opens at 9 PM with a 30-minute mini workshop, taught by a different teacher couple each month. The social follows from 9:30 PM to midnight. Entry is 2,500 HUF for the party only, or 3,500 HUF with the workshop.
If you come without a partner, look for the taxi dancers: team members marked with lights who dance with anyone who has no partner. The studio has a bar with refreshments.
Broadway Dance Center detailsFüge Udvar: Free Salsa-Bachata Thursdays
Thursday has a second option, and it is free. DJ Tombao's Mi Musica party moved to Füge Udvar at the end of September 2026. The address is Klauzál utca 19 in the 7th district, close to Blaha Lujza tér. It runs every Thursday from 9 PM to 12:30 AM.
DJ Tombao hosts it with Mindenem a tánc and Latin Fiesta Budapest, and the playlist is salsa and bachata hits. Füge Udvar is a large ruin bar with several floors, bars and rooms, so expect bar guests who are not there to dance.
Salsa events in BudapestWombat's: The Friday Salsa-Bachata Party
On Fridays, the same Mi Musica crew with DJ Tombao runs Wombat's Salsa-Bachata Party at Wombat's City Hostel. The address is Király utca 20, next to Deák Ferenc tér. The party has run on Fridays since 25 September 2026.
A salsa and casino workshop starts at 8:30 PM, and the party runs from 9:30 PM to 1:30 AM. Entry is 3,500 HUF, cash only. The hall has a glass roof and plants, a floor for dance shoes, fans and a guarded cloakroom.
JO&JOE: BANG! Every Second Tuesday
BANG! Salsa & Bachata Party runs every second Tuesday at JO&JOE Budapest, the hostel and bar at Dohány utca 35, near Blaha Lujza tér. It started on 1 September 2026, and its dates so far are 1, 15 and 29 September and 13 October.
The listed time is 7:30 PM to 1 AM, with a double workshop before the party. Because it runs every two weeks, check the date before you go.
