The Glow Party on Saturdays takes a rare afternoon slot from 5:30 to 10 pm: Lady Style at 5:30 pm, a bachata workshop at 6:30 pm, then a 50/50 salsa and bachata social from 7:30 pm. Entry is 6 euros, and the international crowd makes it an easy first stop if you are new in town.

Wednesday's flagship costs nothing. Veles e Vents, the marina landmark designed by David Chipperfield, hosts Latin Foc every Wednesday from 8 pm to 1 am: a language exchange at 8 pm, salsa and bachata classes at 9:30 pm, then the DJ party from 10 pm.
Latin Foc is Valencia's biggest international midweek Latin party, with free entry and an outdoor covered terrace on the water. The classes before the party mean you can arrive without a partner or much experience.
Veles e Vents venue detailsMiky House: Wednesdays and Thursdays Near the University
Miky House Private Club at Avenida de Blasco Ibanez 153, near the university district, covers two nights a week and has a reputation as a welcoming spot for Erasmus students and international visitors.
The Wednesday social runs from 8:30 to 11 pm for 5 euros, with one drink and free dance lessons at basic, medium and advanced levels included in the entry.
Thursday is the big one: La Casa del Baile, Valencia's most prominent Thursday Latin party, runs from 8:30 pm to 3 am with lady style lessons at 9 pm and couple lessons at 10 pm. Entry is free for the first 40 arrivals, then 8 euros including a drink.
Miky House venue detailsLate Nights: Asucar, Noches de Salsa and La 57
Asucar Discoteca in Patraix, the packed floor in the photo at the top of this guide, runs its Latin night every Thursday: classes from 10 to 11 pm, then social dancing until 4 am across two large rooms with resident DJs Miguelon and Roberth. Entry is 7 to 12 euros, the music spans salsa, bachata and kizomba, and Thursday is the club's most popular night from September to June.
Friday belongs to Noches de Salsa, a dedicated Latin dance club in Benicalap operating since 2005. Friday runs from 10:30 pm to 3:30 am for 5 to 10 euros with the widest style range in this guide: salsa, Cuban salsa, Rueda, bachata, Dominican bachata and kizomba.
For the truly nocturnal, Discoteca La 57 describes itself as the biggest salsa nightclub in Valencia and the temple of rumba. Ritmo Latino runs Friday and Saturday from midnight to 7:30 am for 10 euros, mixing salsa, bachata, merengue, mambo and rumba. The venue also runs an afternoon Latin dance academy.
