Salsa in Valencia
Spain
Salsa in Valencia runs seven nights a week, with 10 events, and all 10 are weekly socials. Wednesday is the busiest night with two parties, and Thursday and Friday also carry two each. The early week is covered too, so you can dance every day if you want. Most parties happen in clubs and social-dance bars, and several of them mix salsa with bachata (9 bachata events run in the same city). The scene leans toward Cuban salsa, which fits the local casino and rueda tradition, alongside line salsa nights. A few floors also add kizomba (2 events a week). Many socials open with a short class before the party. Coming alone is normal here; dancers rotate partners from the start.
