About the duo

William Teixeira and Irene Silvia are a Brazilian Zouk and bachata dance duo based in Madrid, Spain. William is a reigning Solo Leader Champion and Irene the 2023 Solo Follower Champion at the Brazilian Zouk World Championships, where their William Teixeira Dance Company placed second in the team division. Together they run WI Dance Studio and the Madrid Zouk Bachata Congress, and they teach workshops internationally, including at BIG3 FESTIVAL 2027 in Hamburg, Germany. William & Irene are touring 5 festivals on the 2026 circuit, including Madrid Zouk Bachata Festival 2026, Warsaw Brasil Festival 2026, 🌎 International Bachata Zouk Festival 🌎 and 2 more.
