About the instructor
Jesus y Adela are a Czech-based salsa duo made up of Javier Jesus Escobar Castillo, originally from Lima, Peru, and instructor Adela Mrkackova. In autumn 2013 they opened their first salsa course in Ceske Budejovice under the name Salsa s Jesusem a Adelou, which has since grown into the Salsa Escuela dance school. Listed by go&dance with a home base in Cesky Krumlov, the couple performed a salsa showtime at Back 2 Mambo in Prague in 2022. In August 2026 they are part of the international artist line-up at the first edition of Salsa Festival Czech Republic in Prague.
