About the duo
Rodrigo and Wendy Jimenez are an international Latin dance instructor and performer duo and the directors of RW Latin Dance in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they teach salsa, bachata and kizomba alongside their signature SalsaTango and BachaTango fusions. Both hold a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they also serve as adjunct dance faculty. Their competition record includes a second place at the World Salsa Summit, a first place at the SABA World Dance Competition and a first place at the Liberty Dance Championship, and they have performed at major events such as the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress and the New York International Salsa Congress. At the Boston Salsa Festival 2026 in Waltham they teach Bachata Fusion partnering and shines workshops.
