Salsa y Control is Boston's premier Latin dance company and studio, founded in 2003 and teaching weekly salsa and bachata classes in Allston and Cambridge.
About the instructor
Salsa y Control is one of Boston's largest and most beloved Latin dance companies, tracing back to 1999 salsa duets by brothers Johnny and Andres and established as a company in 2003. It has grown to more than 105 performing members across multiple teams and teaches weekly salsa and bachata classes from its Allston studio, opened in 2008, and a second location in Cambridge. Salsa y Control promotes the Boston Salsa Festival 2026, held August 21 to 24 at the Westin Waltham Boston in Waltham, Massachusetts, a weekend of salsa and bachata workshops and performances.
