Fuego Y Hielo Dance Company
About the studio
Fuego Y Hielo Dance Company is an Atlanta-based Latin dance studio founded by artistic directors Fuquan Ferrell and Candace Joyner, operating out of Fire and Ice Studios at 3201 Atlanta Industrial Parkway NW. The studio specialises primarily in Salsa On2 (Mambo / New York Style), Bachata in modern, traditional and sensual variants, and also offers Brazilian Zouk and AfroMambo, with cha-cha and footwork-technique blocks rounding out the schedule. Group classes run Monday through Thursday evenings across two or three rooms, with structured Beginner, Open Level and Intermediate progressions and weekly Friday open practice. The studio is highly regarded in Atlanta's Latin dance community for its technical, body-mechanics-driven approach, with reviewers consistently praising Fuquan and Candace's patience, detail orientation, and emphasis on injury-free movement. Beyond classes, Fuego Y Hielo runs three regular socials each month - The Monday Social (2nd and 4th Mondays in-studio), Mambo Mayhem (every 3rd Saturday in-studio), and Art & Salsa (every 1st Sunday at Buckhead Art & Company). Pricing is class-card based with a $25 drop-in, class packs from $100 to $340, and unlimited monthly options at $215 (Studio Pass) and $250 (All Access). Private lessons are also available individually or in packages from one to twenty sessions, and the team performs and teaches at private and corporate events on request.

"Fuego y Hielo is the absolute best studio for Latin dancing in Atlanta. I have been coming for several months after moving to Atlanta and it is always the best part of my day. The owner Fuquan is fun and challenging. He wants you to get better and pushes you to grow as a dancer. "
"Come to FyH if you want to experience fun and patient guidance from all instructors. Technical knowledge of the dances are stressed as equally as the importance of making sure you're having an enjoyable time learning. Can't forget about the valued cultural importance as well! Eve"
