Austin Inspired Movement

Austin Inspired Movement is a Latin dance studio in South Austin specialising in Salsa, Bachata and Brazilian Zouk for adult dancers of every level. The school runs a structured multi-level belt curriculum (white through black belt, each ~2 months) that takes complete beginners through to advanced partner work, with formal test-outs at the end of each tier. Group classes are offered weekly across two main locations, Rhythm House ATX on South Lamar and Reveal at Onion Creek, with progressive Salsa and Bachata levels Tuesdays, the Master the Salsa Belt series with Marcus Negron on Wednesdays, and Bachata Musicality plus Salsa Shines mid-week. Two recurring weekly socials, Sensual Tuesday and the Thursday Flow & Feel social, follow the classes and feature Salsa, Bachata and Zouk music sets. The instructor team is led by Master Instructors Favian Bustos and Marcus Negron and includes Advanced and Inspired Instructors covering all three styles. Pricing centres on a $19 drop-in, discounted 10 and 20 class passes, and a $150 monthly unlimited membership, plus tiered private lessons starting at $80. No partner is required and a strong community Code of Conduct is published for safe, inclusive social dancing. The studio also offers private lessons, wedding choreography, birthday dance packages and performance-team programmes, making it one of Austin's most complete Latin dance hubs.
