Salsa in Bali
About the studio
Salsa in Bali is run by long-time Bali salsa instructor Made Lasia and serves as the central hub for the island's Latin dance community. Through the Ubud studio and a roving network of private-lesson locations, the school offers salsa, bachata, kizomba and Brazilian zouk to dancers of every level. Its main contribution to the scene is the curated nightly social-dance schedule that spans Ubud, Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, Sanur and Uluwatu, with parties hosted at well-known bars and beach clubs. Group classes at the Ubud studio cost 135,000 IDR (with discounts for KITAS and KTP holders), while private lessons are available in 1, 4 or 8 hour packages priced by region. Made and his team also offer choreographed performances and animation for weddings, birthdays, New Year parties and venue takeovers. Salsa LA is the most common style on the floor, but Cuban salsa, bachata, kizomba and zouk are all welcomed. The community is highly international, with dancers from many countries joining the parties every night.
The Salsa in Bali community has existed for more than 20 years. Bali's first dancers learned salsa from the internet, and the scene has since grown into a network of professional dancers and nightly socials across the island. The brand has been online since 2014 (per the site footer).

What dancers say 5.0 on Google
"Took private class for only 2 days, yet I went from big no to big wow. Made Lasia, the instructor, is an amazing teacher, kind, friendly and patient. I did enjoy my bachata lesson, definitely will come back."
