Caribe Dance Center

Caribe Dance Center, also operating under the Salsa Hungary brand, is a long-running Budapest-based dance team that has been teaching Caribbean and Latin dances in Hungary for over two decades. The school specializes in authentic Cuban styles including Cuban salsa, son cubano, rueda de casino, rumba, cha-cha-cha, mambo, Afro-Cuban, timba and orishas, alongside bachata, reggaeton, samba, flamenco, belly dance, yoga and the Salsation fitness program. Lessons are offered as small-group courses and private lessons, with many styles currently available only as one-on-one bookings. The school operates from a yoga and belly-dance studio in Érd (Bajcsy Zsilinszky út 90) and from rented venues in Budapest's 13th district (Kresz Géza u. 36) and the Klauzál Gábor Művelődési Központ in the 22nd district. Classes accommodate complete beginners through advanced dancers, and no partner is required - the team helps singles pair up on the spot, with rueda de casino's natural partner rotation often used to integrate solo dancers. Instruction is delivered in Hungarian, Spanish and English. The school also organizes team-building workshops, custom workshops on request, private home lessons, live Latin music shows, and is connected to the International Cuban Dance Camp Hungary and the Hot Summer Latin Dance Festival in Siófok.

Founded in 2000 as Caribe Dance Center (also branded as Salsa Hungary and Caribbean Academy of Dances), the school has been operating in Budapest for around 25 years, focusing on the cultural preservation and community spirit of Cuban and Caribbean dance traditions.
