Salsabine

Salsabine is a Copenhagen-based dance school founded in 2005 by Sabine Dybro Boesen, specialising in Salsa, Mambo and Bachata. After a two-year break, the school is re-opening in January 2026 in new premises at Match Padel Studio in Amager (Lemberggade 15, 2300 Copenhagen S) with weekly Monday classes in Salsa and Bachata. The school teaches Salsa Crossbody (both LA Style/On1 and NY Style/On2 Mambo) along with Bachata Sensual and Bachata Fusion, the styles that dominate global social dance floors. Throughout the closure, Sabine has continued to host the Salsabine Socials dance parties at Islands Brygge Kulturhus, which run on two Tuesdays a month and combine drop-in beginner lessons with open social dancing for all levels. Classes emphasise solid technique, musicality and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that values student progression at any pace. No dance partner is required, and dancers can drop in to socials with no commitment. The school also offers private lessons, team-building/hen-party packages, and occasional bootcamps, workshops and dance trips abroad.

Salsabine Dance Studio was founded by Sabine Dybro Boesen in 2005 and ran continuously until 2022, when weekly tuition was transferred to Salsabine Danseforening (a member-run association). The association ceased on 31 December 2023 and the regular dance classes were paused for two years while Sabine took maternity leave. During the closure, the Salsabine Socials parties at Islands Brygge Kulturhus continued without interruption. From January 2026 the school re-launches under Sabine's direct ownership at a new venue in Amager, Copenhagen.
