Beyond Dance Dublin
About the studio
Beyond Dance Dublin is a welcoming Latin dance school in Rathmines, Dublin 6, teaching Cuban Salsa, Salsa Line (LA-style), Bachata and Urban Kizomba. Founded by experienced instructor Alina after more than a decade leading a major Dublin school, the studio focuses on connection, technique, musicality and personal growth rather than just steps and routines. Classes run three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) at Studio Tango, with structured 5-week beginner courses, drop-in classes for improvers and advanced dancers, and a Discovery Intro Pack for newcomers. Tuesday and Thursday evenings end with weekly dance socials (50/50 Bachata/Kizomba on Tuesday, 50/50 Salsa/Bachata on Thursday) and the school also hosts monthly dance parties and workshops. The space is judgment-free and inclusive, open to leads, follows or anyone wanting to learn both roles, with no partner required. Pricing is flexible: drop-ins from EUR 15, day passes, memberships, gift vouchers, and private lessons (EUR 50 solo / EUR 90 couple). The school positions itself as a community-first dance home where students can progress at their own pace and connect beyond the dance floor.
Beyond Dance Dublin was founded in 2025 by Alina, who had previously spent many years as the director of a major dance school in Dublin. After coaching over 6,000 students across private lessons, group classes, corporate events and workshops, she launched Beyond Dance as a more personal, welcoming and accessible alternative, blending Latin dance instruction with community-building activities. The website states the school carries '11+ years of teaching excellence' through its founder's lineage of teaching in the city.

"After trying different academies in Dublin I can confidently say this is the best place to start in the right way. Strong focus on feeling and technique so you can learn and enjoy the process and not only learn few sequences that you may forget in the dance floor. Recommended :)"
