SalsaGeneva

SalsaGeneva is a long-running social-dance school based in Vernier on the western edge of Geneva, Switzerland, founded in 2011 and dedicated to Cuban salsa and Dominican bachata. The school runs about 15 hours of group classes per week across a clear progression from absolute beginner through advanced, with parallel tracks in Salsa Cubana, Bachata Tradicional, Rueda de Casino, Reparto Cubano and dedicated Latin dance training. Classes are taught by a stable team of resident instructors including Sarah, Gustavo, Joe, Jordi, Olga and Patricia, most lessons being couple-led but open to single dancers as no partner is required. Beyond regular group classes, SalsaGeneva offers tailored private lessons, choreographies for events, and weekend social nights that have become a hallmark of the school. Their parquet dance floor, professional sound system and warm lighting host regular Saturday socials with rotating guest DJs such as DJ Pao, DJ Sam Corso, DJ Shrek and DJ Besi Salsero. The atmosphere is famously welcoming, casual and family-style, with the team's stated motto that 'everyone dances at their own pace and feels at home here.' The studio is easily reached from central Geneva by tram or car and serves as both a teaching school and one of the city's main weekend Latin social hubs.

Founded in 2011 in Geneva, the SalsaGeneva school has continuously developed its teaching methodology, pedagogy and program over more than a decade, growing into a full-time studio offering around 15 hours of weekly Cuban salsa and bachata classes, private lessons, workshops (stages) and weekend socials. It operates from its dedicated dance hall in Châtelaine/Vernier and has built a stable resident teaching team plus a regular DJ roster for its Saturday-night events.
