About the studio
Salsa Club Munich (operated by Siempre Salsa e.V.) is a long-running salsa and bachata school located in a passage on Westenrieder Strasse 41, right between Marienplatz and Isartor in central Munich. Founded by Hakan Seven, who has more than 30 years of dance experience, the school's signature style is Salsa New York Style (On2 / Mambo), complemented by Salsa LA, Lady Styling and Bachata Dominican (Traditional). Group courses run as compact four-week blocks at four progressive levels (Beginner through Advanced) plus two Bachata levels, taught Monday to Friday in the school's own studio. Singles and couples are equally welcome — partners are rotated during exercises so solo dancers always have someone to dance with. Beyond pure step training, the school places strong emphasis on understanding the music itself: instruments such as clave and congas, the difference between beat and rhythm, and how to dance authentically in the music. The team also runs regular one-day intensive workshops and weekend partner workshops (e.g. with international guests such as Kieran from London). Two recurring social nights are hosted on site: a Thursday Salsa Beats Party (roughly 70% salsa / 30% bachata) and a Friday Bachata Sensual Party with workshop and DJ Migo, both with a full bar in an authentic, air-conditioned, parquet-floored venue.
The school is run by the registered association Siempre Salsa e.V., founded and led by Hakan Seven, who has been teaching salsa for over 30 years. It has built a reputation in Munich for its New York Style (On2 / Mambo) specialisation and its musicality-driven teaching approach (dancing on the instruments). The current studio is located in the Westenrieder Strasse 41 passage in the historic centre of Munich. The site copyright still reads 2024.

Group courses run as 4-week blocks (4 x 75 or 4 x 90 minutes). Per-course price not published on website — must be requested from the school. One-day intensive workshops are listed; festival/partner workshop with Kieran & Sirli (April 25-26) priced at 45 EUR p.p. for 1 day with partner, 70 EUR p.p. for 2 days with partner, 50 EUR p.p./day solo. Salsa Beats Party and Bachata Sensual Party tickets sold at the door (Abendkasse); free for club members.
