About the studio
RHYTHM Latin Dance Studio is one of Oslo's most recognised Latin dance schools, located at St. Olavs Gate 32 in central Oslo. Founded in 2020 by Cuban brothers Aliochy Aragon and Miguel Carrazana during the pandemic, the school began with outdoor classes and has grown into what it bills as Norway's largest Latin dance studio for solo classes. RHYTHM specialises in Cuban Salsa and Bachata Sensual, while also offering Afro Fusion, Afro Dancehall, Reggaeton, Salsaton, Latin Fusion, Urban Salsa, Ballroom, and Samba. Classes run as 8-week courses with structured Levels 1 through 3 (Fundamentals, Improver, Intermediate) plus Open Level options, all held in 55-minute sessions. Instructors are working professionals with credits on national TV shows such as Skal Vi Danse, Stjernekamp, MGP, and The Voice, and stage credits at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet and the National Stage. Pair classes use partner rotation, so no partner is required, and a 10% student discount is available with valid ID. The studio also offers private lessons, a referral discount, company packages, and a Salsa Showteam programme.
RHYTHM Dance Studio was founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic by Cuban brothers Aliochy Aragon and Miguel Carrazana. The studio initially operated outdoors at Kunsthogskolen in Fossveien 24 to comply with pandemic restrictions, an innovative model that earned it widespread recognition in Norwegian media. The studio has since expanded into a full indoor facility at St. Olavs Gate 32 and is run as RHYTHM AS (organisation number 927 524 686). It is closely tied to the SHOW DE VIDA performing arts company, where the founders serve as Artistic Director and Performance Manager respectively.

Pair classes require no partner (rotation). Class duration: 55 minutes. Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Open Week 150,- redeemable as discount on courses/passes.

Former soloist with the Cuban cabaret company Wilfredo Figueredo and Scandinavia's Tabanka Crew. Artistic Director and Principal Dancer at SHOW DE VIDA, performing on national TV (Stjernekamp, Skal Vi Danse, MGP, The Voice).

Professional ballroom and Latin dancer with 18+ years of competition experience. Winner of Dancing with the Stars Vietnam and Bulgarian national champion in Latin and standard show dance. Choreographer for X Factor, The Voice, and Bulgaria Got Talent. Currently dances for 2entertain Norway on Color Line cruise productions.
Cuban-born dancer, instructor, and choreographer originally from Camaguey. Trained at the Universidad de las Artes in Havana with a degree in Afro-Cuban dance. Former dancer at Tropicana Havana and Ballet de la TV Cubana. Founded Salsa-Casino school in Norway in 2016 and developed a four-year Cuban Salsa method.
One of Oslo's leading bachata promoters with deep roots in the local scene. Discovered bachata in Spain in 2003 with Korke and has since worked with international artists at workshops and congresses worldwide. Background also includes swing, hip hop, breakdance, ballet, sports dance, and rhythmic gymnastics on the Norwegian national team.
Bachata Sensual partner duo. Bartek (Poland) blends tango elegance, zouk flow, and kizomba touches into his bachata style. Lenka is a former bachata competition winner whose style combines powerful, energetic movements with graceful softness and fluidity.
Creative and performing dance artist with roots in urban styles (Hip Hop, Dancehall, Afrobeats) and a strong passion for Cuban Salsa. Member of Tabanka Dance Ensemble, performing at Den Norske Opera & Ballett and Dansens Hus. Toured Norway and Europe with Impure Company / Hooman Sharifi.
Dancehall specialist who relocated to Kingston, Jamaica in 2021 for six months and again in 2023 for three months to study Dancehall culture and history. Has performed at the CDC Festival Berlin, Mad Vibe Camp Poland, Dancehall Master World Paris, and Pure Jamaican Vybz Oslo.
Cuban-trained dancer who graduated in 2006 from Cuba's National Arts School (ISA) in Folklorico/Cuban Afro. Performed with Wilfredo Figueredo Musical Show Company, the Tata Ero Folklorico Afro Project, and Tiempos Sabas Company. International experience across Cuba, China (Dance Asi Shanghai, Atlantis Hotel Sanya), and beyond.
Venezuelan-born dancer and instructor who moved to Norway 13 years ago. Norwegian Cuban Salsa Champion in 2016 and 2019. Specialises in Cuban Salsa, Reggaeton, Salsaton, and now Afrodance.
