CP Lounge is Ubud’s day-to-night spot built around an outdoor pool and a white-sand day-club area that doubles as the dance floor. Latin social dance usually runs Friday nights 21:00–23:45 with a live Latin band; the venue runs live bands nightly at similar hours and then switches to DJs in the CP Club 00:00–03:00. The layout is open-air — pool with loungers, a low stage for bands and bar seating — so dancing feels casual and close to the water rather than formal.
Expect free entry and no reservations; singlets for men are not allowed. The salsa/bachata set is typically in the earlier band slot, so arrive before 21:30 to find the floor. After midnight the crowd shifts to the DJ club for general club music; if you came specifically to social dance the window to dance is mainly that 21:00–23:45 band period.
