Parkchata is a free open-air Bachata social held in Parc de la Ciutadella, Barcelona's central park near the El Born and Ciutat Vella area, organised by the Bachata Sensual community. On good-weather Thursdays the meet-up starts with a free Bachata class around 7pm, then flows into social dancing under the trees at La Glorieta until about 10pm, with the focus squarely on sensual and social Bachata.
Because it is outdoors, free and seasonal, it runs mainly through the warmer summer months and depends on the weather, so checking the organisers' Instagram before heading out is wise.
