Málaga has bachata on four days a week, and Sala Muévete anchors it with three nights. Wednesday is bachata-led from 10:30 PM. Friday and Saturday run from 11:30 PM to 6 AM. Entry at Muévete is 8 EUR before midnight and 10 EUR after, the only door price we can confirm.
Two formats run side by side. El Patio's Wednesday social (7:30 to 10 PM) and Sandunga Caribbean Club's afternoon tardeos are the early option. Muévete and the Sharanga nightclub run until about 6 AM. All of these venues sit west of the historic centre, so plan a bus or taxi, and a taxi for the late finishes.
Every night below is in our Málaga bachata listings and was checked against the organizers' own schedules in October 2026.

Sala Muévete: Bachata Wednesdays From 10:30 PM
Wednesday at Sala Muévete is the only bachata-led weekly night we could confirm in Málaga. The venue calls it Miércoles Bachateros, and its October 2026 flyer puts the mix at 70% bachata and 30% salsa. The social starts at 10:30 PM, right after the school's evening classes end.
Entry is 8 EUR before midnight and 10 EUR after, and Muévete students get in free on Wednesdays. Expect a mix of the school's students and social dancers on a full but danceable floor. One recent review singles out Wednesday for the best atmosphere of the week.
The sala is at Calle Realenga de San Luis 28 in the Carretera de Cádiz district. Map apps may list the same building as Av. de los Guindos 27.
Sala Muévete details and scheduleEl Patio: The Early Wednesday Social
For an earlier Wednesday, go to El Patio de Málaga Salsa, the party side of the MalagaSalsa school. Its Día del Amigo runs from 7:30 to 10 PM, a short weeknight social with Cuban salsa and Dominican bachata. Expect the school's students on the floor.
El Patio is at Corregidor Paz y Guzmán 2 in Cruz de Humilladero, opposite Barbarela, and capacity is limited. It finishes at 10 PM and Muévete starts at 10:30 PM, so one Wednesday can hold both.
El Patio venue detailsSandunga Caribbean Club: Tardeos on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Sandunga Caribbean Club opens on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday for an afternoon tardeo, not a late club night. The music is salsa, bachata and kizomba, and Saturday is the main session of the week.
Sandunga does not publish its current hours, so check with the club before you go. It is at C. de Alfredo Corrochano 1 in Cruz de Humilladero, outside the historic centre: take a bus or taxi.
Sandunga Caribbean Club detailsSala Muévete on Friday and Saturday
Muévete opens again on Friday and Saturday from 11:30 PM to 6 AM, at the same 8 EUR before midnight and 10 EUR after. Friday is Viernes Social, with taxi dancers (paid dance hosts) and shows, and it draws a bigger crowd than Wednesday.
Saturday is Sábados Puro Sabor and uses two rooms: salsa and bachata in room 1, kizomba in room 2, plus workshops. Special Saturdays can start at 11 PM and cost more, for example 10 EUR before midnight and 12 EUR after on a themed night in October 2026.

Sharanga, listed with us as Charanga Disco, is a Latin nightclub, not a dancer social. The music mixes salsa brava with reggaeton and tropical, table reservations come with bottle service, and the crowd leans Colombian and wider Latino.
It opens late on Friday and from 11 PM to 6 AM on Saturday, with tickets sold in advance. The club is at Av. de José Ortega y Gasset 124 in Polígono Alameda, Cruz de Humilladero; plan a taxi home.
