Stockholm has weekly salsa socials on four nights, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, at two schools. Stockholm Salsa Dance, near Hötorget metro, runs Monday and Friday. iDance Studio Söder, near Skanstull metro, runs Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The social alone costs 140 SEK at Stockholm Salsa Dance and 120 SEK at iDance, and every one of these nights opens with a drop-in class.
ZoukKTH adds two zouk-led evenings in term time, on Thursdays in Solna and on Fridays in Vasastan, but neither runs every week. The full list is on our salsa events in Stockholm page.

Stockholm Salsa Dance: Cuban Mondays, LA-Style Fridays
Stockholm Salsa Dance is a salsa school at Adolf Fredriks Kyrkogata 13 in Norrmalm, central Stockholm, and the nearest metro is Hötorget. Its two club nights work the same way: drop-in classes from 7 to 9 PM with no pre-registration, then a social on two floors, one for salsa and one for bachata. Class plus social costs 240 SEK with the cloakroom included, and the social alone costs 140 SEK.
Monday's Club is the Cuban night: Salsa Cubana and bachata classes at three levels each, then a social from 9 PM to midnight. Friday's Club is the LA-style (cross-body) night, with salsa taught at four levels and a social from 9 PM to 1 AM. Reviews from March and May 2026 mention crowded rooms on dance evenings, so expect a busy floor.
Stockholm Salsa Dance also ran a summer-only series of salsa and bachata nights at the Gröna Lund amusement park on Djurgården. The 2026 season ran from 9 June to 13 August on rotating Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, with the class included in park admission. No 2027 dates are out yet.

iDance Studio Söder is at Tjurbergsgatan 27 on Södermalm, near Skanstull metro, and has a main room and a smaller second room. Entry is the same on all three nights: 120 SEK for the social, 190 SEK with the drop-in class, or 100 and 160 SEK for students with a valid student ID. Buy in advance through Coursely or pay at the door.
Wednesday and Friday are Bachata Night by iDance. On Wednesday, bachata classes at three levels run from 7 to 8 PM. Then the main room plays bachata until midnight, and the smaller room has a salsa social from 8 to 11 PM. On Friday it starts an hour later: class from 8 to 9 PM, then the bachata social from 9 PM to 1 AM. The smaller room plays salsa in odd-numbered weeks and zouk in even-numbered weeks.
iDance Sundays is the salsa night: a drop-in class from 6 to 7 PM, then the social from 7 to 10 PM. The main room alternates each week between cross-body salsa (Salsa Edition) and Cuban salsa (Havana Edition), and the smaller room plays bachata every Sunday. Holidays and special events can change the schedule, so check the studio's date list before you go.
iDance Studio Söder detailsZoukKTH: Term-Time Evenings in Vasastan and Solna
ZoukKTH runs a Brazilian zouk social at Birkagården, Karlbergsvägen 86B in Vasastan, on most Fridays of the autumn term (4 September to 11 December 2026). It is not weekly: the October 2026 dates are 2, 16, 23 and 30 October. A zouk course with a drop-in class runs from 6:30 to 8 PM, then the social from 8 to 10 PM. The social costs 75 SEK at the door.
On most Thursdays from 17 September to 3 December 2026, ZoukKTH and Social Dance KI run an evening at Kårhuset, the student union building of Karolinska Institutet at Nobels väg 10 in Solna. Brazilian zouk intro classes run from 6 to 8 PM, then a one-hour mixed social with zouk, salsa and bachata from 8 to 9 PM. The October 2026 dates are 1, 8, 22 and 29 October.
