Lucas e Thayna

Lucas and Thayná are a Brazilian Zouk partnership based in Lisbon, Portugal, and the 2024 Original Division World Champions. Lucas has taught and performed in over 20 countries at congresses including Brisbane Zouk Festival, Dutch Zouk Congress and Warsaw Zouk Festival, while Thayná, who trained in classical ballet in Rio de Janeiro before discovering Zouk at 14, has taught across more than 26 countries and is the founder behind events such as Lisbon Zouk Weekender and Zouk Lab. Recognized for their technical precision, musicality and creativity, the duo teach Brazilian Zouk workshops at Bachata Zouk Royals in Freiburg, Germany, on December 11 to 13, 2026.
