About the studio
Bailando is a dedicated Latin dance school located in the Moltke:höfen complex in central Cologne, focused on Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk and related Afro-Latin styles. The school runs an open 'BASICS' Drop-In track where complete beginners (with or without a partner) can step in any time, alongside structured closed-group courses (feste Gruppen) that progress through clearly defined levels A1-A3, M1-M3 and advanced (F). Resident teachers include school founder Cherbel Chabo plus Linda (Latin Fusion / Bachata Solo), Mary (Heels), Masabito (Afro Fusion), Chu (Rueda de Casino) and Aram. Beyond couple dancing, the studio offers ladies-styling and solo formats - Latin Fusion, Bachata Solo, Heels Fundamentals and Afro Fusion - as well as Rueda de Casino. Every Wednesday evening Bailando hosts the 'After Work SOCIAL' (20:00-22:00), a weekly Salsa/Bachata practice party that is free for members and open to the wider Cologne dance community. The school partners with Urban Sports Club, runs a strong awareness/safer-spaces policy, and additionally offers private lessons, wedding-dance preparation and bachelor/bachelorette party packages. Pricing is transparent with monthly memberships from 44.90 EUR, drop-in tickets from 14.90 EUR and a 8.90 EUR introductory trial class for new students.
