SalsAlianza
About the studio
SalsAlianza is a long-running Afro-Caribbean dance school in Paris, founded in 2007 by Terry Tauliaut and Cécile Ovide and currently directed by Laurence Hauradou. Located in the Studio Bleu complex on Boulevard Poissonnière in the 9th arrondissement, the school specializes in Salsa Portoricaine (LA Style ON1 and NY Style ON2), Salsa Cubaine with Rueda de Casino, Bachata, and Kizomba/Semba/Kompa, with classes from beginner through advanced levels. The teaching team is internationally recognized, regularly appearing at congresses and festivals across Europe, the United States, India and Russia. The weekly schedule offers around 24 group classes from Monday to Friday evenings (mostly 19:00-22:00), plus Heels and partner-work specialty classes. Pricing is flexible with class packs from 5 to 60 classes, 6-month and 10-month subscriptions, and an unlimited annual pass at 1290 EUR. A mandatory one-time 30 EUR registration fee covers two years, and students under 26 receive a 20% discount with code ETUDIANT. The school promotes a warm community vibe (slogan: One Beat, One Family) and advertises affiliated social parties such as Agua Party on Tuesdays and Salsa y Sabor on Sundays. Drop-ins are welcomed at most classes without reservation, making it accessible for travelers and newcomers.
