About the studio
SalsaNueva is one of Paris's flagship Latin dance schools, founded by two-time French Salsa Champion Julien Cogordan. The school operates two studios in eastern Paris - SalsaNueva 20e at 32 rue du Capitaine Marchal in the 20th arrondissement and SalsaNueva 12e at 10 rue Erard in the 12th - giving students access to multiple halls (Hall 1, Hall 3, Pavlova, Patrick Swayze, Marceau, Charisse) for parallel programming. Its curriculum covers the full spectrum of Latin partner dances (Salsa Cubaine, Salsa Portoricaine New York Style, Salsa Colombienne, Bachata Moderna, Bachata Dominicaine, Bachata Sensual, Kizomba traditionnelle and Urban Kiz) plus solo styles such as Afro, Heels, Hip-Hop, Street Jazz, Reggaeton, Samba Bresilienne, Musicalite and Pilates. Classes run Tuesday through Thursday evenings (19:00-22:30) and Saturday afternoons (14:00-19:00) with beginner, beginner-intermediate, intermediate and all-level streams plus dedicated 'Atelier' workshops feeding the annual Gala choreographies. Pricing centers on the Pass Infinity unlimited annual membership (1,317.50-1,550 EUR depending on payment plan and age, with a 15% discount under 26) which bundles unlimited classes, party access, workshop stages, online video programs and a Discord community; flexible alternatives include a 19 EUR trial class and a 99 EUR ten-class discovery pack. Beyond classes, SalsaNueva runs a weekly Thursday social, hosts an annual June Gala at Salle du 13e Art with an after-party, organizes corporate events (EVJF, team building, animations), runs dance vacations and operates a separate kids and teens academy (SalsaNueva Kids) covering Eveil, Classique, Modern Jazz, Hip Hop and Street Jazz from age four. Founded by Julien Cogordan, French Salsa Champion in 2013 and 2014, SalsaNueva grew from a Latin couple-dance school focused on Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba into a multi-discipline academy with two Paris locations. The Kids program (SalsaNueva Kids) was launched in response to demand for child and pre-teen dance education. More recently the school added an online platform (online.salsanueva.fr) offering 24/7 video courses in Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba, plus an e-shop (shop.salsanueva.fr) and a corporate events arm (SalsaNueva Event) for team building, EVJF, company classes and stage shows. The school also runs a 'Sejour danse' brand for dance vacations and an 'Escape' sub-brand (escape.salsanueva.fr).
