Bachata in Brisbane
Australia
Bachata in Brisbane runs 9 weekly socials across 8 venues, spread over five nights. Sunday is the busiest day, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday each add parties, so you can dance most of the week. Wednesday covers the mid-week slot for a quieter night out. Nights happen in Latin clubs, dance studios and a few bars, with several rooms in Fortitude Valley and the West End near the city center. Bachata shares the floor with salsa here, since 9 salsa events run in the same city, plus 8 kizomba and 5 zouk nights. Many socials open with a short class, so beginners can arrive early and warm up. Coming alone is normal, and dancers rotate partners from the start.
