Rio Rhythmics Latin Dance Academy

This is a working dance academy with two dedicated studios on Boundary Street — Studio 1 is the long-time main room with a high ceiling and a sprung timber dance floor; Studio 2 is a smaller room a short walk up the road with a balcony overlooking the street. Social nights follow the class timetable: Saturday runs a Latin Mix social with a free intro lesson, while Friday socials are pitched at experienced dancers.

Expect a studio feel rather than a bar scene: mirrors, open floor space and a reception for check-in at street level. Music across the socials covers salsa, bachata, Brazilian zouk and kizomba, so you’ll see beginners from the 10-week courses alongside regular advanced students.
