Salsa in Brisbane
Australia
Salsa in Brisbane runs 9 weekly socials across 8 venues. Sunday is the busiest day with 3 parties, so the weekend stays strong right to the end. Friday and Saturday each add 2 socials, and Wednesday and Thursday cover the midweek. That gives you five nights of dancing out of seven. The scene mixes Latin dance academies, city bars, and open-air spots by the river. Several nights sit near Fortitude Valley and the CBD, and some floors pair salsa with bachata, kizomba, or zouk (9 bachata, 8 kizomba, and 5 zouk events run in the same city each week). Most socials rotate partners, so coming alone works fine. Many venues start the night with a short class before the open dancing.
