Salsa at Buena Vista Bar, Munich

Buena Vista Bar sits on Am Einlaß near the Viktualienmarkt in central Munich, an intimate spot decked out in Cuban flags, paintings of Cuba and Che imagery, with Caribbean food and a long cocktail list. It works as a restaurant and bar through the evening, then clears space for dancing as the night gets going. The Noche Latina party runs every Friday from around 10 PM into the early hours, with rotating DJs and free entry, leaning on Salsa and a wider Latin mix.

This is a bar party rather than a dedicated dance hall, so the floor is cozy and the atmosphere is warm and casual, a nice option if you want to dance, drink and soak up a Cuban vibe in one place. The venue also runs donation based Salsa Cubana classes on Sundays, which helps feed a friendly regular crowd. Free entry and a very central location make it an easy late night stop for visitors and locals alike.
