Bachata & Kizomba at Dance with George Studios, Munich

Dance with George is one of Munich's well known schools for Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Urban Kiz, sitting right in the city center on Landwehrstraße, a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof. The school runs structured courses through the week and then turns the studio over to dancers for two affordable socials: a Bachata Social every Thursday from 9 PM until open end, and a Sunday Urban Kiz Social from around 5 PM into the evening. Entry is a friendly 5 euros cash at the door, or you can use the studio's 10 social package.

This is a teaching studio rather than a club, so expect a clean sprung floor, indoor dance shoes, and a community of students and regulars who know each other. The Thursday night is pure Bachata and the Sunday is focused on Urban Kiz, which makes it an easy pick if you want to drill one style in a low pressure room. Because it draws heavily from the school's own course students, it is comfortable for beginners and improvers who want to practice what they learned in class.
